Representation and Membership

The TSPA represents parents of all students from the four schools of the Penang Campus:
1) Tenby International Secondary School (TISS)
2) Tenby International Primary School (TIPS)
3) Sri Tenby Secondary School (STSS)
4) Sri Tenby Primary School (STPS)

All parents and/or guardians (as recorded in the School Record) of students automatically become members of the Association. There is no membership fee applied. Members are requested to submit a request form to receive communication from your Class Rep and or TSPA Committee members.

Structure of TSPA –

Annual General Meeting

Time-frame: November Yearly

Attendees: All Parents from Tenby Schools
Presentation of Annual Report & Audited Accounts
Elections of Core & Committee Posts:
   – Core posts – elected for a 2-Year Term:
     Chair, Secretary and Treasurer
     Qualifying Nominees: – any existing committee members
   – 3 Committee posts elected for one school year (Nov to Oct).
Presentation of Proposed Management Budget for coming year 

Appointment of Year Reps and School Representatives

Tenby International School

1.  Timeframe: September Yearly

2.  Parents sign up as Year Reps during Coffee Morning.

3.  Core Committee appoint School Representatives

4.  School Representatives form part of TSPA Executive Committee.

5.  Appointed School Representatives will serve for one school year (September until July).

Sri Tenby Schools

1.  Timeframe: January Yearly

2.  Parents sign up as Year Reps during Coffee Morning.

3.   Core committee appoint School Representatives.

4.   School Representatives form part of TSPA Executive Committee.

5.  Appointed School Representatives will serve for one school year (January until November).
